Overview
The Waikato Primary Exam Course is an annual, intensive two-week course designed to help prepare candidates to pass the Primary ANZCA examination. The course consists of exam focused lectures, interactive group tutorials, viva sessions and short answer question practice.
The course is tailored to those who are about to sit the exam as there is a strong focus on exam technique and practice.
Candidates are able to attend the course in-person or virtually.

In-Person Course

Suitable for candidates doing the second sitting exam

The in-person course is held once a year in the lead up to the second sitting exam. 20 places are available with positions usually over-subscribed. This course is designed to give candidates the very best chance of passing the Primary ANZCA examination. In addition to the interactive lectures and small group tutorials, much of the content is geared to developing good examination technique and simulating the actual exam, with candidates receiving daily viva and SAQ practice as well as personalised feedback.
Virtual Course
9-19 June 2025
Suitable for candidates doing the second sitting exam
NZ $1000
The virtual course is the next best option if you are unable to attend the in-person course. Lectures and sessions are streamed in real time and recorded for later viewing. We also provide a full practice exam, AI SAQ marking as well as a limited number of virtual vivas. Online content will be made available until the end of the second sitting exam.

We have packaged up our best material into an online course that you can work through at your own speed. High quality recordings of lectures and small group tutorials, a full practice exam and AI SAQ marking. The course is only available in the leadup to the first exam sitting and access is granted for 6 months.
